Christopher was a bright and talented man whose life was taken away too soon. He had many talents and hobbies, such as playing sports, driving his car, riding his motorcycle, playing instruments, writing music and most of all spending time with his family and friends. Before Chris passed away, he took the Westchester County Police exam, as his dream was to be on the force to serve and protect.
Chris had this infectious and contagious laugh. He had a huge heart and was extremely ambitious. If you knew him, consider yourself lucky because no one would ever compare to his huge presence and overly joyful self.
Most do not know this but Chris struggled with a speech disability all of his educational life. However, he had the strongest motivation to succeed and beat his disability. He never allowed that to get in his way or to be treated differently. He wanted to be treated like everyone else and never wanted hand outs. He just tried harder than everyone else to stand out and be the best.
And this is why the Christopher S. Seguinot Memorial Scholarship Foundation was established. To keep his legacy alive. This foundation helps a high school senior pursue a college degree who shares a common passion for life such as Chris demonstrated time and time again.
